  • adults

The mission of our adult ministry is to prepare, challenge, and inspire men and women to a life that makes a difference. It is our desire that every adult finds freedom, becomes a fulfilled disciple of Jesus Christ, and lives out their life’s purpose. We desire to see each person have a passion to reach their sphere of influence for God, whether it’s across the street or around the globe.

  • worship & Tech TEAM

At South Oaks we love to praise God with worship and singing. Our worship style is mostly contemporary with both upbeat and intimate songs of worship. This is a time to encounter the presence of God and show Jesus Christ our love.

Our Sunday worship & tech team includes musicians, vocalists, tech, greeters, and interpreters. If you would like to serve on a team, contact the church office.

  • deaf

Our congregation has opportunities to serve the deaf community in the area. We have ASL style interpreters for the Sunday services - for both the time of worship and the message. We also offer the option of having an interpreter at other church events for the deaf that attend (by appointment). If you are deaf, we welcome you and hope you feel at home at South Oaks Church!

  • outreach

The main focus of our outreach ministry is to glorify God by being like Jesus, and to proclaim the hope and truth of the gospel by all means possible. We love people and want to them to have a real relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Through practical ways such as food drives, buying school supplies for needy kids, and giving to local agencies, we want to help meet the needs of the community. We are regularly part of city events to meet and greet those in our community. In doing these things, lives are changed as we are Jesus' hands and feet to those around us.

  • kids

Our Kids Room, for children crawling though age 5, meets at the same time as the Sunday message. With a combination of Bible stories and activities, our children will learn in a safe, fun environment.

  • prophetic

The prophetic ministry at South Oaks church seeks to deliver and heal, reveal and confirm, identify and teach, anoint and release by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our desire is to help people see the gifts and talents God has given them and find their role in the church and community. We want to see you become all God has created you to be.
